Plan for next Sabbath Jan. 23 Religious Liberty Offering The First Amendment assures that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. But how long will we enjoy these freedoms only God knows. In her Dawn Before Darkness, p. 24 EGW wrote: “America‘s precious freedom of religious belief and practice is in danger of being destroyed by those who would force the conscience of the minority to conform to the wishes of the majority. Let’s do our part so that the freedom to worship as one chooses and the ability to enjoy workplace Sabbath accommodations because of religious convictions will continue to be protected. Your support and encouragement during the upcoming Liberty emphasis is critical.
