OAA Peru Mission Trip will host a Waffle Breakfast fundraiser tomorrow Sunday, January 21, in the Youth Center from 8 to 10 a.m. Please support the OAA faculty and students in building a church in Peru during spring break. Waffles and Peruvian Cachangas and spicy hot chocolate will be served. Plus, there will be a drawing for a cute little stuffed llama.
Adopt a Dorm Daughter Share love and encouragement with a dorm student by adopting a dorm daughter and sending her notes, food, and small gifts. Student information sheets and program details will be available on Sabbaths, January 13 and 20. Participants need to have completed Sterling Volunteer Certification within the past 3 years. Thank You to my lovely church family! We want to thank you for the help you gave our family for Tommy’s funeral, for Carl’s funeral and for the good meals. Pathfinders Needs Mid Feb. your Pathfinder club is sponsoring a multi club camp out at Arrowhead State Park in Oklahoma. Our guest speaker for the weekend is the Texas Conference Evangelist, Byron Corbett. We will be working on many camping skill activities. We are in need of the following: Dryer lint and empty small cat food or tuna cans. These will be used as fire starting tender and DIY camp stoves. Please save, collect, bag and bring these items to the church entryway or church office no later than Sat., Feb. 10. We thank you in advance for your support of your Pathfinder Club.
2023 Tax Receipts will be available starting Jan.13-at the church. If they are not picked up by Jan. 20 they will be mailed.
