Ozark Adventist Academy Senior Recognition Weekend, Nov. 1, 2. Friday night, Nov. 1, will be the class vespers at the OAA auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The class has chosen Storie Giddings as the speaker for the Sabbath recognition service at the Gentry Church, Nov. 2, at 11:00 a.m. On Saturday night, the seniors will have a variety show at the OAA auditorium. The lobby opens at 7:00 p,m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.. There will also be a fundraising bake sale, so if you wish to donate your favorite baked goods to support the class it would be appreciated. The show will include an array of skits, acts, and the premiere of senior Lauren Alburo's original Ozark: The Musical. You won't want to miss it!
Women’s Ministry will continue to collect soda can tops for the Ronald McDonald house for Kyslee Davis who is fighting B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This will be an ongoing ministry until, like Deklyn Kynslee goes into remission. The family is facing uncertain times with all the medical expenses as well as traveling. Picnic for Adult Sabbath School Classes If you belong to one of the Adult Sabbath School classes you are invited on Oct. 19, after the church service, to a picnic potluck down by the river at Ken and Eva Hills property. Bring comfortable shoes, lawn chairs, food and drinks to share for the potluck Eating utensils will be provided. If you play an instrument or guitar bring it along for a sing along after the meal.
